Project Shard London: Architect Renzo Piano did not want any black rubber joints to be visible in the design for this project (the Shard). Therefor, the choice was made to co-extrude all visible rubber profiles in a close-up aluminium grey RAL7040.
Project Soho Place London: vulcanized frames supplied with a combination of 2 different profiles. In addition, both in black and black-grey co-extrusion (with grey corners).
Project MOL Budapest: For this project, we supplied a number of profiles in special SG quality, which are compatible with various Sika and Dowcorning sealants. In addition, we supplied a large number of vulcanised windows for ready-to-install installation.
Techniques used for this project
One of the TPP specialties is co-extrusion profiles. The TPP co-extrusion process makes it possible to manufacture profiles in 2 different colours or hardnesses.
Providing your rubber profiles with an inkjet coding in the production process will help you to retrieve item, production and delivery information quickly.
The extrusion of customer-specific rubber gaskets is our speciality! The application possibilities and specific ambient temperatures are endless for both indoor and outdoor use.
