For TPP the actual application is the base for the design of the profile. Besides the shape, the selection of the right compound is crucial for the perfect design. TPP takes the following essential criteria into account in the design process: the degree of hardness, flexibility, tensile, compression, color, bonding with other materials, etc. TPP has a wide range of compounds for specific applications. If the durability aspect is an important criterion in the development and production of a sealing gasket, a.o. in accordance with the Cradle-to-Cradle standard, TPP can also develop the product in TPE if the application of the product is suitable for this.

Frames and Frameworks made of TPE
One advantage of TPE over EPDM is that the composition of multiple profiles into 1 whole is easier, e.g., a sealing frame with 4 corners for a window frame. The reason for this is that the TPE connections can be ‘welded’. This process shortens the lead time and reduces production costs compared to EPDM products. By not having to use tape or glue it shows also here the ecological advantage.
TPP is operating with modern, advanced manufacturing equipment so TPE sealing profiles are produced in an energy efficient way. We use 100% green energy, which emphasizes the sustainability character of TPE sealing profiles from TPP.

It is our vision that the products we design, and supply will be manufactured in a sustainable way. We see the use of recyclable raw materials increasing in the future. We already offer the possibility of using recyclable thermoplastics in the development of new products or the so-called TPP-green compounds in which our vulcanised EPDM waste is processed as a vulcaniser. In this way, we try to fully process our residual materials into new end products.
